Being on a team means we support one another in our ministries and lives. Today, the Tiesenga's and I drove out to Achele village in Morungatuny to visit Beckie in her new village home.
We took a walk through the 12 acres of crops and found a spring fed waterhole, where she collects her water for bathing, washing, etc.
I loved spending time with the sunflowers - my favourite flower!
So bright and shiny
Beckie and I played with the babies. Kate Tiesenga looks on with slight jealousy as Tofi (the daughter of Francis and Josephine - two former LRA captives) delights in Beckie's attention.
We enjoyed a meal together in Beckie's garage.
And then we prayed over the compound where she is staying. Here we are praying at Tata's house - she is the old grandmother of the family.... I think there were 7 huts besides Beckie's house that we prayed for, as well as the granary, that symbolizes all the crops God blesses on their land.
And here is Beckie's home. What a wonderful way to spend a Saturday with my team!
