  1. great photos karen. i think those are the coolest tire sandals i have seen!
    sorry about the matatus. if only they took just 14 passangers. but if only the police would just stop threatening them for bribes. the kenyan police are extremely corrupt. they will find any reason at all to bribe. even if all the laws are being obeyed. i've witnessed it a few too many times. complicated... wish it were safer. it would make life easier!
