Another year has come to an end. Here are the last few highlights of December.
Having the girls home is always a blessing! We pray for their hearts, protection, and futures as they often spend time at boarding school in Kampala.
Since we minister to university students, Christmas season is always a lot quieter at church. Many people have returned to their villages for the festive holidays. So, the few of us who are left at church sit in a circle and cherish quieter worship times.
Pastor Richard often preaches on the radio with Moses. For Christmas he was blessed with a pile of theological resources and was immensely happy.
At the end of every month, at least two Bibles are given away through the "At the Well" radio program.
Rebecca and I were racing each other at a women's fellowship Christmas party.
Our sweet Tutu sends her Christmas Greetings.
And faithful Tiny sends her timid Happy New Year's greetings.
Coming back from Kampala, we had to travel through Murchison Falls National Park because our closest road with a bridge over the Nile River was closed for a few months. Thankfully it is open again, so it only takes about 5-6 hours to reach the capital city.
Prepping for a video update. :) Thankfully we just got a tripod!
The Sunday school kids re-enacted the Christmas story during the first Sunday of December. We always celebrate Christmas early so that the university students can feast and fellowship with us before their exams begin.
I had a lot of fun directing the play - with lots of parts and quick costume changes.
The Sheep and the Shepherds were in awe of the Good News!
And we danced the day away.
At Acacia Mall - in Kampala
"It's Christmas Time in the City."
I even took time to get a much needed hair cut. It's the only time my hair is ever straigthened.
Hanging out with baby Bethel. She has gone to and fro to the big city with us. She is a great traveler.
Wiggly Wobbly on a Boda
Live Christmas music at the mall
Merry Christmas from our home to yours
The Pastor's Dance
Unexpected Rains
